Your Price (USD): $49.95
Compatability: TH8RS and TH8A Shifter

Item #: RMT-TMSQ

Description

Our Tactile-Feedback shift mod adds a "Click-Clack" feeling to the shifter lever. Designed to replicate the ratcheting mechanism felt when shifting a sequential shift transmission. In addition, it shortens the throw by 10%. This mod transforms the feeling of your shifter which can only be described as "manly". Solid mounting of your shifter is required for best results.

Our kit doesn't just make the shift gates shorter. Instead it changes the geometry of the shifter to reduce the length of the shift. No other device on the market does what this kit achieves. This mod is compatible with PC, PlayStation and Xbox when used with supported wheels and games.

Sequential Shift Mod Plate April 16, 2018

Quick delivery and good product.  Like others, I greased the spring and slide mechanism and the feel is great.  Would recommend, changes the stock Shifter into something else.

Good product, but prepare to modify immediately. April 12, 2018

Extremely difficult to shift out of the box. Not smooth at all. If yours is too, DO NOT keep using it without modifying it, because you could break your TH8A internals. Seriously. Fortunately, it's simple enough.

Internal mechanism was extremely rough, causing it to bind up in the slot.

Required smoothing out of all edges on the internal mechanism, and slight rounding of cam edges (where the shaft goes). 400 grit sandpaper, rat tail file, etc.

I installed a weaker spring to reduce overall effort. YMMV

Mod is now working as I expected it to from the factory. Should not be a $50 dollar product if it requires the end user to perform all the finishing "machining" and polish.

This made my shifter set complete. Totally has the feeling more to the likings of a real sequential shifter now. So thank you everyone at ricmotech for making my simulator experience complete.
