How do I return an item?

At Ricmotech, we want you to be happy with your purchase. You may return any product purchased for a refund if you are not satisfied. However, since no one ever wants to receive a previously used product we are required to implement some rules. Please read the terms below.

Terms and Conditions for Returns

Products purchased from Ricmotech can only be returned within the first 14 days after being received. Items shipped for return after the first 14 days will not be issued credit. Please contact Ricmotech prior to returning any items to obtain a return authorization and confirm the terms of the return.

All returns must include all parts and accessories in the originally packaging. This includes but is not limited to manuals and other paperwork, screws, cords and cables, mounting brackets, CDs, and protective foam inserts. Refunds will not be issued if any parts that originally shipped with the product are missing.

Do not write on, tear or crush the original packaging or otherwise deface any components being returned. This includes striped screws, cut straps, stained items, scratches or dents on the product. All parts must be in like-new, re-sellable condition. If all the components are not in re-sellable condition, only partial credit or no credit will be issued.

Items returned must be properly packaged in order to prevent damage in transit. As stated above, all items must arrive in like-new, sellable condition.

Do-It-Yourself plans and templates can only be returned in the original sealed mailer. Plans and templates will not be accepted for a refund if the original mailing pouch has been opened.

Items returned in factory-sealed packages are eligible for a full refund of the item purchase price. Items not returned in a factory-sealed box are subject to a full inspection and a 15% re-stocking fee will apply. Any items tampered with or found to be in non-working condition will not be eligible for a refund.

The shipping and insurance costs are the customer's responsibility. Ricmotech will not accept COD shipments.

If upon inspection the item is found not to qualify for a refund, the item may be returned to the customer if the customer is willing to pay for any shipping charges incurred, otherwise the items shall be discarded.

Items which ship in error or having factory defects may be returned in exchange for like items only. If a like item is not available, we may issue a full refund of the purchase price for the item in question or, at our sole discretion, replace with a similar item.

Product Warranties

Ricmotech and RealGear Products
Products manufactured by Ricmotech under the Ricmotech and RealGear brands are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of 90 days from the date of product delivery. For warranty claims, the product must be shipped to Ricmotech at customer's expense. Any items found to be faulty due to manufacturing defects will be repaired or replaced at our option and return the item to the customer at no charge. In some cases, a product may not need to be returned and Ricmotech may choose to send replacement parts at no charge. Please contact us immediately if you believe there is a fault due to a manufacturing defect.

Other Manufacturers Products
All products except those sold under the Ricmotech and RealGear brands are warranted by their respective manufacturers.

Products Modified by Ricmotech
In cases of products which are sold combined, such as Thrustmaster T3PA-PRO pedals with our load cell kit pre-installed, The products are warranted separately. The customer is responsible for removing the pre-installed parts when returning an item for warranty service to the respective manufacturer.

If you have a problem with a product you purchased from us, just give us a call. We will make a reasonable attempt at getting your problem resolved even if it is outside the the terms specified above. We call it the "Good Guys Warranty."
