Introducing the newest sim-racing chassis to join the AP-Xtreme family, the AP-Xtreme Mobile. This chassis was created for those applications a portable or mobile racing simulator is desired. It can hard-mount all consumer-grade wheels and pedals from Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec, and even has an adjustable shifter mount. The chassis lets you mount any seat you choose so you can personalize the simulator to your tastes. Choose any of the ProCar seats available here or mount your own to create a mobile racing simulator.
To make this portable sim racing rig perform it leverages the portability of a gaming notebook PC and a VR headset. This means you can run your mobile racing simulator practically anywhere you have electric power.
Since the AP-Xtreme Mobile is built on the proven AP-Xtreme platform, it features the durability and light weight of its larger siblings. The sim-racing chassis features an adjustable laptop stand and wheels to make it the perfect rig to take to the track. Perfecting your line on this simulator between track sessions give you that competitive edge. When the race weekend is over simply remove the notebook PC and roll the chassis right into the trailer. Take the notebook PC with you to update cars and tracks so you are ready for the next race.
The sexy lines of the new AP-Xtreme cleverly disguises the slotted utility track with industrial HD polyethylene panels making this the most versatile sim-racing chassis ever created. The primary purpose of any simulator chassis is the need to place the controls in the proper position to make driving the car feel natural. The flexible design of this chassis gives it the ability to mount practically any brand of sim controls in just the right position. This bare chassis is ready to mount all your essential sim-racing gear.
From its inception, the chassis was designed to have the correct GT racing position. Instead of the "bus driver" position common to most other simulator chassis on the market, Ricmotech has taken careful measurements of real-world race cars and developed a sleek design while staying true to reality. After all, the entire reason for sim-racing in a chassis is to place ourselves in the proper racing position, so why would anyone settle for the "bus driver" position?
Proper ergonomics puts the driver in the right position, but to get it perfect requires adjustability. Each critical element of the driving controls is designed to be individually adjustable. Not only does this permit getting every control situated in the right spot, but also accommodates various types of control which vary in angle or dimension. This adjustability is key in having a chassis that is completely upgradable for any hardware the future may bring.
