If you are looking for the ultimate in tactile effects for your racing simulator, then the Clark Synthesis Platinum Transducer is for you. Clark Synthesis tactile transducers are the premier tactile transducers in the industry and the TST429 is the most powerful one they have. The enhanced neodymium magnetic structure of a Platinum Transducer produces approximately twice the output of the popular TST329 Gold Professional Transducer. The extended frequency response and superior fidelity adds a new level of realism to the virtual racing experience.
At low frequencies it behaves like a bass shaker, and at higher frequencies it provides the subtle nuances that make car skids and gear whine come to life. No other transducer on the market can top the performance of the Platinum Professional Transducer from Clark Synthesis. Originally developed for military and commercial training simulators, Full Contact Audio® transducers were specifically designed to transfer sounds like gunshots and explosions into a tactile experience that can be felt as well as heard. This technology was enthusiastically received by the sim racing community. Racers of all ages love the intensified sensory experience of competing in a simulator with a Clark Synthesis transducer.
The Clark Synthesis TST429 Platinum requires an amplifier for operation. Ricmotech recommends an amplifier stable at 4 ohms that can deliver 125-150 watts @ 4 ohms (per transducer). The transducer is 8 inches in diameter and is only 2.25 inches tall. It mounts at a single point for the best transmission of vibration possible and includes mounting hardware for attaching in various ways to your simulator. One transducer is all you need for the best sim racing experience you will ever have. Order a Clark Synthesis TST429 now!

It's alive!
I had recently purchased an R Seat, RS1 cockpit and furnished it with a Fanatec Club Sport wheel, pedal and shifter kit and was originally considering installing a Buttkicker shaker system on the rig. After a couple of conversations with Frank at Ricmotech (who was extremely helpful, his expertise and product knowledge was only exceeded by his service level - Top drawer!) reading research papers on the benefits of tactile transducers over shakers and testing a Buttkicker on another rig, I decided to go the tactile transducer route. In the immortal words of Dr. Frankenstein - it's alive!, Installing the Clark Synthesis transducer was a complete transformation of what was already an exceptional rig. The tactile transducer makes a completely emersive experience and will create the next level of reality no matter what your setup is. A fair comparison of a rig without the transducer is like watching tv in black and white compared to high defineition colour. All sensations are transferred to your rig, engine rumble, rumble strips, gear whine, road imperfections and at 9 lbs of force per watt, if you hit a wall or get in a collision - you know it! can you say, ring my bell!. Turn this system off and the rig feels lifeless! My cockpit is fantastic (highly recommend it), the Fanatec equipment is great (I started with logitech G27 wheel - great place to start but the Fanatec package was worth every penny), but the Clark Synthesis transducer is indispensable in creating a truly immersive experience. Please note, Im using this on a PS3 console from my understanding it would only get better on some of the PC systems. Before purchasing the Clark product I tried a Buttkicker gamer. Not in the same league at all. If adding realism to your rig is what your after, than look no further than the Clark Synthesis tactile transducer. I have ran the system for 4 months, and there has been no issues with any of the equipment. The equipment looks simple in design yet quite robust for its intended application so I don't foresee any issues with it. My review may sound a little over the top, but the tactile transducer really brought my rig to life. If my rig was lost or stolen, I wouldn't hesitate to invest in the Clark Synthesis Tactile Transducer system again or recommend it to anyone. Honestly - the realism it provides has squashed my curiosity into a full motion systems. Bang for the buck you won't add more realism to your rig than adding the Clarke Synthesis transducer! Why did I go Platinum? - I'm a no compromise type of guy. Frank advised me that the silver would be suitable for my application. But I'm more like Nigel Tufnel from the 1984 movie (mockumentary/rockumentary) This is Spinal Tap and his infamous quote which is now a popular idiom, these go to eleven. I can't tell you if the platinum is adding more value to my system than the silver would, I can only tell you - what I have is worth every penny I spent. Thanks Frank and Ricmotec, I'm a very happy customer!
