Real race cars don't have a keyboard and mouse, and neither should your simulator. Unfortunately, we need them to be able to login and select settings. We have found the perfect keyboard for just that purpose. This Microsoft wireless mini keyboard with touchpad is the perfect interface for typing in the name of a host server, entering a password, and setting up your car for a race. When you are done, the keyboard sits unobtrusively out of the way.

The integrated touchpad is the perfect mouse interface for a racing simulator. It is not activated by vibration, doesn't fall down, and doesn't require a dedicated flat area to use. Unlike optical mice and trackballs, the touchpad is not triggered by vibration so you will never have the mouse pointer show up on screen in the middle of a race.

The mini size is perfect even if you are keeping it next you on the floor when not in use, and picking it up with one hand when you need it.
