Want to get a new grip on your existing Thrustmaster GTE, TM28, 599XX, or TM Open wheel rim to have a better grip, then this replacement wheel rim is for you. We machine these from a specially made Max Papis Innovations GT11C open top racing wheel wrapped in Alcantara or SuperGrip with a bright orange grip caps to replace the original steering wheel.

The SuperGrip material is a special silicone impregnated developed by Max Papis Innovations. The material creates a non-slip grip with the driver's hands. This lets the driver relax their grip on the wheel. By reducing the "death-grip" on the steering wheel the driver gets more feedback from the steering and is able to deliver steering inputs with higher fidelity. The difference is huge in terms of car control as steering corrections are near effortless.

This is the steering only and does not include the buttons or paddles. You must use a "donor" Thrustmaster GTE, TM28, TM Open, or 599XX EVO wheel rim to complete the conversion. There is no adapter required. This DIY Alcantara or SuperGrip steering wheel is a direct replacement for the original wheel and retains the functionality of all the buttons and the D-pad. The electronics of the wheel remain completely untouched. This wheel retains full compatibility with game titles on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

The wheel is a genuine MPI GT11C cut-top wheel rim wrapped in a genuine Alcantara or SuperGrip for the ultimate competition feel co-designed with Max Papis himself. This 270mm (10.6 inches) steering wheel comes with a thick diameter grip. We do not use cheap replica wheels for this DIY Alcantara steering wheel, this is a genuine hand-stitched MPI wheel rim.
