PDW sim-racing shifter paddles are machined from aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum and then anodized for an extremely durable and consistent finish. Albeit a rather simple construction, it is an extremely solid set of shifters. There are no seams to break apart and the geometry gives it the strength to really take a beating, especially with all of the new direct drive wheels. The machining and construction is on par with true motorsport shifters like those in WEC, TUSCC and F1.
These feature magnetic snap action shifting which allows for fast, definite and reliable actuation. No springs to wear out, they are truly the ultimate way of controlling the feel. Incredibly reliable switches are used, but the key is the design of the body. Some paddle shifters have the arm bottom out on the switch, leading to premature failure of said switch. With this design, that is virtually eliminated leading to a longer lifespan for the switch.
These PDW sim-racing shifter paddles are ideal for putting together a DIY wheel. These are the shifters and switches only, these will have to be wired to your own electronics. The switches are wired as Normally Open and the circuit closes when the shifter is activated. Mounting screws are included. These shifters ship without paddles.
