The perfect racing wheel for open-wheel and prototype cars. That's what this RealGear wheel upgrade for the Thrustmaster T-Series was made for. The conversion wheel is fully assembled and includes a genuine MPI steering wheel that was custom wrapped in Super-Grip material with an orange top marker just for Ricmotech at the factory. The wheel center is machined to fit around a modified GTE wheel buttons and electronics hub so it is fully compatible with your wheelbase. The genuine Super-Grip material is ideal for use on your simulator because it is comfortable and is made to last. This is the same steering wheel used in real race cars. The wheel diameter is 290mm (11.4 inches).

The SuperGrip material is a special silicone impregnated developed by Max Papis Innovations. The material creates a non-slip grip with the driver's hands. This lets the driver relax their grip on the wheel. By reducing the "death-grip" on the steering wheel the driver gets more feedback from the steering and is able to deliver steering inputs with higher fidelity. The difference is huge in terms of car control as steering corrections are near effortless.

This wheel is a full conversion and it retains full functionality. All the buttons and the D-Pad function as they should so the wheel remains compatible with all PC, PlayStation, and Xbox games. There are no adapters used to fit this wheel to the hub, instead, the wheel itself is accurately CNC machined for the proper bolt hole locations, D-Pad location, and clearance for buttons so the wheel is mounted correctly without any unsightly gaps or extending the wheel further from the hub.

The wheel is a genuine Max Papis Innovations wheel specially wrapped in a silicone impregnated Super-Grip and suede for the ultimate feel. The Super-Grip material is particularly well suited for simulation use since it has plenty of grip with racing gloves but does not get matted like suede would. The overall diameter is 28.5cm with a thick diameter grip. We do not use cheap replica wheels for this item, this is built with a genuine MPI wheel rim. Don't be fooled by others.
