Terms of Sale and Returns

At Ricmotech, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Getting the right product in your hands in a timely manner is a very important part of our business that we take seriously. Typically most orders process in 1-2 business days Monday through Friday. During busy times of the year orders can take 3 business days to process and ship.

The choice of carriers depends on a variety of factors. Most in stock items will be shipped via UPS, FedEx, DHL or USPS as per your selection. Please note that if the product listing shows "ships from manufacturer" then your shipping selection may be changed. Certain manufacturers only offer delivery via a specific carrier like FED Ex, UPS, DHL, USPS and etc. If you have an URGENT order please contact us to be sure it is available to ship immediately. Urgent orders shipping domestically should select FedEx 2Day or Next Day service, Priority Mail is NOT a guaranteed express delivery service. FedEx only runs Monday through Friday so if ordering on a Thursday and you select FedEx 2Day, that means it will be delivered on Monday. Next day air on a Friday order is Monday delivery and so forth.

International Shipping
We do our best to ensure that the shipping estimates are accurate. While our automated system does a good job on domestic orders within the 48 states, customers in Hawaii, Alaska, and from around the world can sometimes experience errors in shipping estimates. We will try to ship via your selected method however if the shipping estimate is incorrect we will contact you. If you feel that your estimate is incorrect, please e-mail us. Include a list of parts and full shipping address so we can provide the most accurate quote. International customers are responsible for all import fee's including taxes and broker fee's. This is out of our control and not calculated in our shipping quotes.

Stock Statuses
We use a variety of stock statuses on our website to help our customers understand how quickly they will receive their item(s). These statuses are updated manually as some items are made-to-order or assembled on demand, other times we rely on third-party warehouses for some items and the inventory status may not be 100% accurate. When time is the main factor in your order, please visit our contact page.

Modifying an Order
Please review your order carefully. Once placed it becomes very difficult to modify your order. They are immediately sent to our shipping staff to be processed during normal business hours, after hours, and on weekends. You may attempt to update information by using the contact page.

Canceling an Order
We only allow orders that have not shipped yet to be canceled. To cancel an order please contact us with your full name, order ID, reason for canceling, and the part or parts you want to cancel. A fee will apply to order cancellations, typically these are charges vendors charge us for canceling an order. Payment processing companies take a percentage for processing an order and again for processing a refund, so if you want to cancel there is a fee and that fee is what they take on the transaction and fees for our time to process and do that accounting work, for a minimum of 5% on cancellations.

We believe this is fair since we begin working on your order the moment the Place Order button is clicked. We pay our staff to process orders and allocate inventory for these orders. If you are unsure about an item please contact us or conduct the research you need to be sure it is what you want or need. There is no exception to the 5% fee at minimum on cancellations.

Manufacturers that ship items direct to you have delays between the time the items ship until you are notified it shipped with a tracking number. Please know that these items may have shipped even though you may have not been notified.

Terms and Conditions for Returns
Not exactly what you thought it would be, or didn't end up needing the item? We accept returns and exchanges of items that meet the following guidelines:
Products purchased from Ricmotech can only be returned within the first 14 days after being received.
Products must be in original packaging and in new condition. We can not sell a new part to someone that is not new. Imagine how you would feel receiving and item with broken boxes, missing documents, screw marks, missing stickers and etc...
All hardware, manuals, cables, plastic bags, etc must be included with the return.
Any product that was used or partially installed is non-returnable. This goes back to being in new condition.
A $5 or 15% minimum re-stocking fee (whichever is greater) applies to all returns that are not due to the error on our part or the manufacturer of the item(s). This fee covers our time to receive, inspect and test the item before it can be sold to someone else.
Oversize items such as seats and sim chassis that ship in oversize boxes or multiple boxes and were purchased with a "free shipping" promotion will be subject to a 40% minimum restocking fee.
Items returned must be properly packaged in order to prevent damage in transit. As stated above, all items must arrive in like-new, sellable condition.
Do not write or put labels on the actual item box, pack the item in a brown box to send it back in and place your labels there.
Shipping Fees are not refundable as UPS already used up the fuel and paid their employees.
You are responsible for return shipping charges.
If upon inspection the item is found not to qualify for a refund, the item may be returned to you at your expense, otherwise the items shall be discarded. We will contact you if this is the case.
You must contact Ricmotech prior to returning any items to obtain a return authorization and confirm the terms of the return. Items received without authorization will not be eligible for credit.
Any products returned must be shipped to our main address. Do not ship items back to the manufacturer unless explicitly instructed to do so.

We sent you the wrong parts by accident:
Contact us about the part you need exchanged. We will personally handle these issues. We will be more than happy to exchange it for you as fast as possible. We will cover all shipping charges in this situation to make it right. We cannot however cover 3rd party charges such as labor charges, or other fees incurred associated with incorrect parts though. Please double check to make sure you received the correct item before having them installed.

Product Warranties

Ricmotech and RealGear Products
Products manufactured by Ricmotech under the Ricmotech and RealGear brands are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of 90 days from the date of product delivery. For warranty claims, the product must be shipped to Ricmotech at customer's expense. Any items found to be faulty due to manufacturing defects will be repaired or replaced at our option and return the item to the customer at no charge. In some cases, a product may not need to be returned and Ricmotech may choose to send replacement parts at no charge. Please contact us immediately if you believe there is a fault due to a manufacturing defect.

Other Manufacturers Products
All products except those sold under the Ricmotech and RealGear brands are warranted by their respective manufacturers.

Products Modified by Ricmotech
In cases of products which are sold combined, such as Thrustmaster T3PA-PRO pedals with our load cell kit pre-installed, The products are warranted separately. The customer is responsible for removing the pre-installed parts when returning an item for warranty service to the respective manufacturer.

If you have a problem with a product you purchased from us, just give us a call. We will make a reasonable attempt at getting your problem resolved even if it is outside the the terms specified above. We call it the "Good Guys Warranty."
