The realistic TH8A shifter mod will work with or without the RMT-TMSS short-throw shifter. Can be used together with the TMSQ since it does not affect its performance.

Waste of Time and Money

Terrible instructions, had no idea if I did it right. The clip holding the mod in place does not sit flush allowing the mod to wiggle (intended? I have no idea) Threw the thing away because it was useless.

Broke within 5 minutes of use

The instructions were incredibly unclear with no video instructions provided nor are there any online anywhere. When i tried shifting into 5th and 6th it felt soft. I took it apart again only to find that part of the mod had already had broken. I know these are 3D printed but come on. Absolutely ridiculous. What a waste of money.

Great feel

Feels great, really clunks into gear now! Only thing I don't like is a bit of a plastic noise when you come out of each gear but I am usually in headphones anyway.

Love the Feel

I love having to actually apply some force to put the shifter in gear. I realize that it's still a bit artificial, but it feels much better than the default setup where it just kind of floats around.
