Q: How are the seats bolted down? I am looking at maybe purchasing the Procar Vinyl/Cloth racing seat and I have an old sim rig I would like to install them on. From the images it looks as though you place the bracket threaded stud through the bottom of the seat, does the cloth fold back so you can attach a nut from the inside of the seat itself to secure to the threaded stud?
A: We ship these seats with sliding rails. The rails have a 90 degree tab on the ends for attaching to a chassis. If you would prefer to mount the seat directly to a rig then you can use the four threaded holes on the bottom of the seat. The holes are threaded for M8 screws. There is no need to remove the upholstery, but the bottom seat liner is attached with velcro and can be peeled away if you need access.
