Description

The SimXperience GS-5 G-Seat is a 4DOF motion feedback system for flight or racing simulation. Unlike many other motion devices, the GS5 G-Seat can produce strong sustained motion feedback and can respond to all up/down, side-to-side, and forward/backward G-forces that occur in the simulation. Almost any motion cue you feel in a real car can be conveyed by the SimXperience G-Seat.

The seat applies pressure to the driver's back and lower thighs in sync with data extracted from the game. The result is pressure applied as if g-forces were pressing you into the seat. Under acceleration the pressure is applied to the drivers back to simulate being pressed into the seat. Under braking, pressure is applied to the lower thighs to simulate the driver being thrown forward. Under cornering, the left or right sides apply pressure to simulate being thrown sideways.
