A seamless connection for a unique gaming experience. With a direct connection through USB for PC and a 3.5mm audio jack connection to console/audio devices, the HF8 ensures fast, low latency feedback through the eight localized haptic motors. For console users, the haptic feedback is felt through all eight haptic vibration zones simultaneously!
USB Connection
In-game telemetry data* for PC games and sound output for console games, provide an immersive experience for racing, first-person-shooter (FPS), and flight simulations. For PC compatible games, simply download and install the HFS software and plug the HF8 into a USB port. The default settings will generate vibration sensations on the eight haptic points on the pad. Use the software to dial in the effects to your personal preference. Effects such as acceleration, braking, gear shifts, and more can be adjusted for location and intensity on the pad.
Audio Connection
Games on Xbox or PlayStation*, non-compatible PC games, music, and movies can use the audio input to trigger effects. Connect the HF8 to the audio output on your device and the HF8 analyzes the sound output from the game and translates that to haptic feedback. This allows the HF8 to work with most any audio source. The HF8 provides a pass-though 3.5mm jack for the use of wired headphones or external speakers.
*PlayStation does not have a dual audio output option, making the use of Bluetooth headsets on PlayStation not compatible when using the HF8 Gaming Pad. The HF8 Gaming Pad must be connected to the PlayStation controller via the 3.5mm audio jack.
